Most people have already put together a bucket list of places to see and things to do in their lifetimes. For those of us who have not, or who are continually adding to their list over time, we understand. There are just so many gorgeous places on Earth to visit, so many great things to do and experience in life, that it’s hard to narrow it down to just a few. But, if we had to, here are a few of the ultimate travel destinations that top our bucket lists.

Niagara Falls, Ontario

Those who haven’t had the pleasure to visit the world’s number one tourist attraction are missing out on the experience of a lifetime. Niagara Falls, which is visited by over 30 million tourists yearly, should be on the bucket list of everyone who has never been. These stunning waterfalls, located along the United States and Canada border, are some of the most breathtaking of any natural wonder in the country. The area itself provides much to do as well, such as zip lining experiences, boat tours that take you below the waterfalls, and a selection of fun tourist attractions. Your trip wouldn’t be complete without a nighttime trip on the SkyWheel to see the falls lit up at night from above.

Bali, Indonesia

Those looking for the ultimate island experience should visit the pristine beaches of Bali. It has grown in popularity over the years, and it’s likely that it may have popped up on your radar recently as well. This area continually becomes more and more popular for tourists, not only for the gorgeous beaches, but for the incredible natural scenery. Embark on a hike to an active volcano, visit a spiritual temple, or just take time to relax at one of their incredible resorts.

Banff, Alberta

If rustic nature is more your taste, Banff is one of the best destinations for hiking, experiencing wildlife, and skiing in North America. After a full day of physical activity, unwind in one of the area’s famous hot springs or take a stroll through the downtown area for delicious food and quaint shopping destinations. If you fall in love with this quaint area as much as we expect you will, you’ll start looking at Banff homes for sale before you even return home.

Paris, France

There’s nothing more romantic than strolling through the city of light at night. Paris is on almost everyone’s bucket list, whether it be because they want to see the Mona Lisa in person at the Louvre, experience the Eiffel Tower, or just take in the culture of this iconic city. Paris is full of literature, architecture, and incredible cuisine that will leave travelers from all walks of life swooning over this incredible historic city.

Rome, Italy

What makes Rome unique is that the city itself is considered a UNESCO World Heritage site. This is primarily because the city holds so much history, culture, and magnificent monuments that signify a period in time. From the Colosseum to Vatican City to the Pantheon, there’s no shortage of historically significant places to visit in Rome. Of course, no trip would be complete without throwing a coin into the famous Trevi Fountain!
